Willowfest 2002 Details

By Stephen Pearson: Equipment Manager

Accomodation - $5 per person per day, payable to Matt Varcoe upon arrival. (4 powered sites, 26 acres unpowered at the Buronga Riverside Caravan Park, Sturt Hwy, Buronga NSW, MELWAYS REF: 514 B5)

Per Match - $10 per game (which will raise $550 covering the tournament entry fee)

Transport - It was considered unnecessary by the MGCC Committee to book a bus, therefore everyone going up needs to organise their own transport. Options are car pooling, trains ($59.20 (one way), $118.40 (return)), or you could even fly up if you wish (not sure what that costs, probably anything from $150, but it only takes an hour)

Merchandise - Available will be limited edition Willowfest t-shirts for $30. MGCC Stubby holders and Caps are already available for sale from the Equipment Manager.

What to bring

  • Tent (unless you want to pass out under the stars...)
  • Clothes (whether some of ya actually wear 'em or not is another thing), toiletries, etc
  • At least 2 sets of whites, cos we don't want to smell anyone.
  • Cricket gear (the club will also bring a men's and a women's kit)
  • Esky's
  • and most importantly, a stubby holder!

Note: Food and Drink would be just as easy to get it when we get up there......
