3. President's report
DH reports that Trivia Night had around 20 people attend, and that a good night was had by all. The committee notes that no functions should be held over a long weekend again. DH noted that Liz Presek was a welcome guest of the MGCC.

4. Treasurer's report
PC estimates that the MGCC has around $4K in the bank account at the student union. The club made between $500 and $600 at trivia night, with $280 of that profit.
SP tables his final money from chocolates.
For presentation night the MGCC should be targeting between 50-60 people given the number of financial members we currently have, and the success of the 3rd XI.
The committee is hoping to make between $700 and $800 on presentation night.
PC reports that there are still 7 boxes of chocolates to sell.
DH reports that he has already spoken to Trevor Dixon regarding doing more entertainment books this year.
PC suggests that the committee should look at a raffle for next season with a voucher/cash prize, and make selling of tickets compulsory for financial members.
New committee to start a bank account with the Bendigo Bank, it has been held over until the AGM, to get the new committee's signatures, rather than having to change them after the AGM.

5. Correspondence
Consumer affairs incorporation letter was sent to the MGCC which will now be handled by David Nankervis.
6. Delegate's reports
6.1 VWCA
The committee elects KB to attend on behalf of the MGCC.
6.2 SD&CCL
SP to contact Bruce Downland regarding any outstanding invoices/fines.
Unfortunately no-one able to attend the SD&CCL presentation Night.
6.3 MCA
MCA, SP reports that with Stage 4 water restrictions looming this winter, there is the very real possibility that the MCA could resort back to been a Synthetic Turf competition. Although all effort will be given to prolonging turf cricket for as much as possible, and the probably of the City of Melbourne closing down Fawkner is low, clubs need to be aware of the possible future.
Belinda & Stephen Pearson, along with PC to attend the MCA presentation night.

7. Presentation Night

SP to send invitation to all members, and collect RSVPs.

• Jude Nicolas
• John Bourne

President's award to replace the coach's award for this season.

The committee vote for winners of fielding awards an best rookie player.

PC offers to tend the bar for the night.

8. Next season - Recruiting Coach / Players
DH tables the idea of having a sit down dinner for the announcement of the captains for next season.
The new committee will need to work on recruiting a coach for next season, more than likely paid solely for by the MGCC.
PC indicates that he is not going to continue for next season, and BG indicates he would like to take charge of the events.
Women's team will look towards having a one-day side solely next year, quite possibly in the shield grade. Women's side needs to recruit a full list of player (at least 15) before they start next season.

9. ECR Keys
DH asked all committee members to please bring all remaining keys. DH to organize keys to be returned to the Council, get our "special key” for other room & co-ordinate with footy club for a change over night, but will need help for that night.
